Why it takes too much time to get item in OnRosterItem event?

Subject: Why it takes too much time to get item in OnRosterItem event?
After I connect to facebook it takes too much time to get an item in the OnRosterItem Event? Why is that? How can I short the time?

if it takes long then either the XMPP Facebook server is slow or your connection is bad.

I found the problem. My login func is a thread and that is the cause. I don't know y but this is the cause.
