Subject: Synchronize web content
Dear all,

Client will send a link URL to his/her contact. Web content will be synchronized when two clients click on the hyperlink.
Could I implement this feature based xmpp mechanism?

Best,

Dear Alex,

This feature similar in whiteboard.
Instead of drawing will be displayed both side client.
In this case Client1 and Client2 will be displayed the same content web page on window control (not IE/firefox) when one of clients click on hyperlink.

Every user click on hyperlink a new url will send to her contact and display web page to both side.

Best regards,

Hello,

OK, I understand now. There is currently no XEP for this. But there are XEPs for whiteboarding and several people are working on synchronization over XMPP.

You can look if one of the XEPs at:
http://www.xmpp.org/extensions/all.shtml
fits for this. Otherwise you have create your own xml and protocol for this.

Thank you Alex.

Could you guide me how to make own protocol for this case? What consideration for a new XEP?
I could take this http://www.ag-software.net/download/xmpp/creating_own_pack… from your homepage.

The document you linked is a very good guide to start.
Please study it and come back with detailed questions.

You can also post the prototypes of your xml here, there I will take a look at it. Based on our professional services we can also create the protocol and classes for you if you want.
