File Transfer Problem

Subject: File Transfer Problem
I got a miniclient from this forum in which file transfer is implemented but it does not work with other IM like MSN and Yahoo. It only work for the same jabber clients. Can you tell me what is the exact problem. Is it due to the different file transfer protocol at both ends, or something else. Please help me to resolve this issue.

yes,
This is a XMPP file-transfer. It does not work MSN, Yahoo, AOL, ICQ etc... until they federate and open their networks to XMPP. Or until the Gateways on the server also translate the file transfer from xmpp to the other protocols and vice versa (which i don't think will happen soon).
