Subject: Is it possible to disable SSL chain validation?

I'm trying to use BOSH over SSL (non SSL works fine) and having difficulty with self-signed certs.

Is there a way to disable SSL chain validation in Silverlight or the matrix SDK? I have seen this sample but it appears to only work in windows apps and not Silverlight.…

Hello Mark,

there is no ServicepointManager in Silverlight, Windows Phone and Windows Store Apps. So we cannot control the certificate validation at all in code and accept invalid or untrusted certificates. But it should work when you add your root CA or the complete cert to the certificate store of your machine in the Windows Control Panel or IE.
