Subject: Using IQ messages to send/receive opaque XML payloads
I would like to add XMPP to an app as a transport protocol for request/response messaging. What's the easiest way to use XMPP IQ messages to act like a tunnel and send and receive XML blobs? I found code for creating custom IQs using .NET constructs but all the parsing and interpretation in my app is external. Do you have sample code for this that is similar to the simple chat samples? Thanks for the patience:-) A noob, Dave

with the download there ships a PDF called creating_own_packet_types.pdf. There is all info you need.
If you parse all data already in your app you can also create only 1 custom packet which included your blob.
