Subject: about JID
Hi everyone.
Sorry for my poor English, but I do confused by description of JID in RFC.
It said that the JID donates the unique entity, both server and client, the format of JID is userName@domain/resource. Here's the problem I encountered:
I tried my computer's name using command ipconfig in cmd with the sample server and MiniClient, the JID is "nnn@localhost ", it fails and the error message said that the network can't be accessed.( so does "router" or "192.168.0.1" or "127.0.0.1" )
If I'm trying to connect my own computer( localhost ), what should the "domain" part will be?
Am I misunderstand some concepts?
Appreciate your reply.
