Subject: Better way to integrate with Facebook chat
Hey guyz,
I'm sandy.... I'm trying to integrate Facebook(FB) chat to my web application which is developed in visual studio 2008(c#). Need some suggestions about how to do that. Are there any third party tools which provide such service or if i have to develop my own client, please suggest me to how to start with and the direction.
I searched online about developing my own client and found some of the articles that say i need to download the agsxmpp.dll. I didn't find some of the sites that allow me to download the file are safe. Can anyone please provide the link for that dll.

for commercial web development I recommend to use MatriX. You need MatriX .NET then which is the first download on the following page:

The latest version also supports FACEBOOK-X-PLATFORM authentication.

When you are new to xmpp then I suggest the book advertised here below in the forums.
You should start with the MiniClient I'm Matrix and study it. When you are then familiar with xmpp you can start with your web app.

Using XMPP components in Web Applications is more complex then in standard UI apps, this is why i suggest to start learning with standard UI apps and then port you knowledge and code to the web app.
