Subject: Login fails on windows 8
Hi,

I am unable to login in windows 8. After execution of xmppClient.Open() , after 2-3 mintues, OnClose() is call automatically.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Please post your Xml logs.
We have not seen any issues on Windows 8 yet.

there seems to be a problem with updating the connection to a secure TLS connection.
Are you on Win8 or Win8.1?

On Win8.1 there are TLS issues with some servers because Microsoft deprectated RC4 by default.

I am using windows 8. And running the windows 8 on virtual machine.

Try some other Win8 machines then. Maybe its a problem with your virtual machine.
Or disable TLS by using StartTls = false, but this is not recommended.

because TLS is encryping all your XMPP traffic. TLS on XMPP is like HTTPS on HTTP.

Application should run in both windows 7 and 8. How can we login in windows 8 , by keeping tsl on.

I have no idea whats going wrong on your Windows 8 installation. As I said before none of our customers has ever reported a problem under Windows 8. And I have also not seen any problems on Windows 8 yet. We have 2 developer machines on Windows 8 and everything runs fine there.
