Jid structure

Subject: Jid structure
Hello all,

I have a question regarding the Jid structure.

Lets say I have domain (net) which called "Rinat.COM" and I have a machine, named "Machine1".
Now, the openfire server installed and run on that machine.

What I want is to know how to configure the openfire(and maybe also changed my code) to have all my users jid in the structure of :
UserName@Rinat.COM  
instead of what I have now, which is:
UserName@Machine1.Rinat.COM.

Please advance.

you can set the domain in Openfire to whatever you want. Make sure that your DNS or SRV records point to the correct machine then. XMPP is a domain based protocol, so th domain is very important and must be correct.
