Webb Client with asp.net C#

Subject: Webb Client with asp.net C#
I want to create a instant messegaing for my users. A webb client like Gtalk.. one that pops up.

Iam going to connect to a openfire server.
I wounder if there are any samples how to connect to openfire. and create a new user?

the Google Talk Web Client is written in Flash. If you want to create a similar client with Microsoft technologies I suggest Silverlight and our MatriX library and not ASP .NET.

Yes this is possible with our compoents. But I suggest to register new user over a webpage which is using a captcha. A user on your server is only a record in the user table of the database. So its pretty easy to create a webage for secure registrations.

Thanks alex.

I have never experinced gtalk on their webpage as flash..
I did shut down the flash and tried gmail once more. and the Gtalk did work. SO i guess that it's not in flash.

Are there any samples? How to register a new user in openfire?

The Google Talk Gadget is, I don't know what they use inside Gmail.

yes in the MiniClient example. There are also some threads here in the forum which you can find with the search function.
