Subject: Aavators
Hi I m Working on a Chat messanger in C# Desktop application n i hav 2 Display avators and i have no idea of using avators and i n havnt  work b4
plz tel me from Secratch..
I go through some of links related to avators but i am not able to understand its XML fully. I have few queries regarding this xml of avator. like....what will be the location of picture for avator i.e either i have to put it on server or somewhere else??

Hello,

here are the most common ways to exchange avatars in XMPP


in this XEP's are many XML examples. There are also lots of threads regarding avatars in this forum. Please read them.
To get started you should download some existing clients which support avatars (Pandion, GAIM, Exodus, Spark etc...), open the XML debug console and look what's going on there.
